Within in the scope of University- Industry cooperation, in order to support our students’ knowledge about design, market, production methods, material and construction and to introduce advanced technological systems in furniture production and construction , 3^rd year students of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Interior Architecture attended to one-day seminar-trip organized by Prof. Yalçın Özel and Res. Assist. Refia Anıl Ağrılı to SAMET Çerkezköy Bar Factory and Hadımköy Knuckle Factory on October 22, 2014 Wednesday.

 

Koleksiyon Furniture Factory Trip

As part of  IM213 Furniture Construction Systems I course of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Interior Architecture, in order to support our students’ knowledge about design, market, production methods, material and construction and to introduce advanced technological systems in furniture production, one-day seminar-trip was organized to Koleksiyon Furniture Factory on October 7, 2013 Monday. Within the scope of University- Industry cooperation, the trip, to which  2^nd year students attended, was organized by Prof. Yalçın Özel, Res. Assist. Seden Odabaşıoğlu and  Res. Assist. Anıl Ağrılı. During the factory trip, the students gained knowledge about the topics (panel, veneer, coating, plywood, solid wood, metal, upholstery, structure, assembly and storage) of furniture production and had an opportunity to see the applications.

SAMET Furniture Accessories

A daily trip and a seminar have been organized at the "Samet Furniture Accesories" facilities on the 5th of March 2013. Prof. Yalçın Özel, Res.Assist. Seylan Öztürk and Res. Assist. Aylin Hacısalihoğlu guided the 2nd year Interior Design course students on this field trip in order to educate the students on furniture design, furniture construction and materials.
